My Experience with Certified in Cybersecurity by ISC2

For the people who know me, you might be wondering as to why did I went ahead with this when I already had a Certified Ethical Hacker by EC-Council. For such people as well as others, allow me to explain.

What is Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) by ISC2?

This is the latest certificate by the world reknowned brand called ISC2 which is aimed towards the beginners of this field. And as a bonus, ISC2 has pledged of providing it to 1 million people for absolutely free. You can go ahead and check it out at this link. ISC2 is best known for its blue team theoretical exams which are geared more towards the management side of this domain. I’m sure you must have heard of CISSP and SSCP. Well these are the guys behind them.

Who is it for?

I’d say that this certification is designed for absolute beginners who want to get there feet wet. The concepts are fairly basic and do not ask you to perform any practical assessments upon them. The material provided here is a breeze to go through where every fundamental concept of cyber security has been touched upon.
